| Fourth Shadow: Madness |
Madness in person appears to Rèfles to remind him the power of love. It’s her the most generous deity towards men because she gives life, makes children adorable, soothe the fatigue of elders, allows chasing dreams and passions.
Inspired by the homonymous book by Erasmus of Rotterdam.
lyrics
[tic tac] Lieve scorre
[tic tac] Nella testa
[tic tac] La precarietà
Mi chiedono cos’è questa faccia spenta
Tendente al gotico che indosso in compagnia.
Scusami un secondo,
Ho una spina della trota in gola:
Questo bicchiere ha bisogno di vino!
Mi chiedono cos’è questa faccia tonta,
Chi è troppo buono da qui prima o poi va via.
Che coincidenza,
Stamattina ho prenotato il volo:
La grotta mi aspetta come da bambino!
[tic tac, tic tac, tic tac]
Sono in ritardo,
Ma mi sembrava brutto andare via così.
Ho già trent’anni,
Non ho un futuro,
E in strada bene o male si accorgono di me.
Capisco che c’è
Una serie di regole,
Non scritte,
Per stare in mezzo alla società
Sempre più complessa.
Eppure sono ben lieto che
Quel poco che ho dato
Almeno è bastato
A farti sorridere
In questo disordine.
Non vedi che
Sei splendida se balli ritmi strani?
Parla di te
Ora che c’hai più ossigeno ai neuroni.
Pensa che io
Quasi morivo quando balbettavi,
E ti dirò
Se quel che dici è oscuro e a stento parli
Mi fai sentire me.
Maschere illusorie,
Spesso coprono la nostra noia.
Perché nascondersi
Nella razionalità.
Foreste di algoritmi
Decidono quello da fare,
Mangiare,
Pensare,
Persino chi amare.
E noi scoiattoli
In una tana in prestito.
Fammi rosicchiare
I tuoi impegni irrevocabili.
Ti concederò un morso
O forse due
Della mia sana follia…
…Che scuote le natiche!
…Che sa di salsedine!
…E che rende virale
La voglia spaziale di te!
Laggiù le stelle
Suonano per noi.
Concedimi un ballo
E non far caso ai fischi.
Io ti applaudirò.
